February 2011.  With the addition of pillow blowing capabilities, Soft Tex now offers an even wider variety of filled products to meet our customer needs.

The Company has added the capability to produce down and feather filled pillows, further serving the needs of its customers.  All purchased material is tested and inspected by IDFL to ensure that our down and feather products meet North-American standards of quality and integrity.

We have acquired high performance blowing equipment that enables us to process an additional variety of polyester fills, such as fine micro-denier down-alternative and cluster fibers. This allows us to fill products in any shape and size, and gives us the opportunity to explore other fills such as wool, silk, cotton, etc.  

October 2010.  Soft Tex presents a new line of basic linen products called Senssa™.   Superior quality products in an attractive packaging, the line includes bed pillows, pillow protectors and mattress covers.  For more information, see our “Residential Pillows” section.

July 2010.  Soft Tex launches a new brand of promotional pillows called EVEIL™.  For more information, see our “Residential Pillows” section.

May 2010.  Soft Tex receives the Eco Logic accreditation from the city of Magog granted to companies participating in the collection of recyclable materials.  At Soft Tex, EVERYTHING that can be recycled is recuperated.  Carton boxes, fabric and fiber leftovers, plastic bags, yarn spools, nothing goes to garbage!

Jan. 10.  We have developed what we consider an improved version of the vinyl medical pillow.  Using Vintex® certified barrier fabric meeting the strict requirements of healthcare institutions, Soft Tex manufactures the pillow shells in such a way to provide additional impermeability to the pillow and more protection against fluids and bacteria infiltration.  In addition of being fluid resistant, our hypoallergenic pillow is also flame retardant, antistatic, soft, and resistant to stains, tears and abrasion.  With no latex content, the shell fabric is also lead, heavy metal and phthalate free.  Our pillows are offered in different colors, in non-perforated or micro-perforated versions, and are filled with non-allergenic and anti-microbial treated fibers.

Nov. 09.
Our pillows are now available to the Hotel industry. They have been tested and meet required standards of washability, durability and appearance after wash. We offer various styles filled either with our regular
non-allergenic polyester fiber, Anti-Microbial or Microgel for a down-like feel.

Producing a down-like feel fiber with a carding machine was not easy but we did it! In addition to the nice luxurious and soft feel of down, our technique will give a more uniform look to your pillows and so even after washing. Very few companies in North-America offer this!
